Gluer Operator

The Gluer Operator is responsible for all operations related to the set-up and efficient operation of a gluing machine to glue and fold cardboard boxes in order to provide a quality product that meets the customer’s standards in the shortest possible time. He/she works under the supervision of the finishing supervisor. He/she is also in contact with the employees of the Quality Assurance Department and occasionally the Maintenance Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform set-up and operation of equipment
• Carry out verifications of samples taken during production
• Participate in preventive maintenance according to schedule
• Ensure proper data entry into the machine before the start and at the end of each operation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent teamwork skills, good communication and positive attitude
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a gluing operator
• Quick learning ability
• Experience in the printing industry
  
• Be punctual and diligent at work
• Good physical shape
• Be responsible, detail-oriented and quality-oriented
