We are looking for an experienced Sales Coordinator who will act as a Team Lead in supporting the Sales team to create and maintain a trustworthy relationship with our valued clients by providing courteous, knowledgeable and timely responses to all customer inquiries regarding their packaging orders and projects. This role involves monitoring orders and projects, schedules, production hours, budgets, vendors, organizing and participating in meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful as the Lead Sales Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.  A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and at least three (3) years of relevant experience is required for consideration.

You should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.  Ultimately, the Sales Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and they meet our high-quality packaging standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a relationship with the client and an understanding of customer requirements and expectations.
  • Respond to all incoming customer requests for samples, design work, delivery, specifications, order expediting and other related inquiries and provides information in a timely manner.
  • Generate quotes/estimates for incoming order inquiries.
  • Process incoming orders accurately.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with internal manufacturing and support staff throughout the order fulfillment and problem resolution process for customers, including: color standards, ink draw down, proofing coordination, logistics, quality issues, credit collection and management, etc.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling to ensure orders will remain on time.
  • Assist with procurement of equipment, parts, supplies as needed.
  • Inform leadership, sales, and manufacturing of project and order status on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate professionally with Sales and Manufacturing on customer account issues.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image in representing SupremeX.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years proven work experience in customer service or similar role in a business-to-business manufacturing environment. Printing, packaging, or paper converting industry experience a definite asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with an ERP manufacturing system such as Epicor.

  • Experience with entering orders and multitasking follow-up, and meeting tight timelines.
  • Highly organized, accurate with managing data, and detail oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with internal staff and our customers.
  • Enthusiasm for the job and positivity in all communications, internally and externally.
  • Good business communication skills (verbal & written) with proficiency in reading/writing/speaking English.
  • Takes a thoughtful approach to communicating the information to customers.
  • Proven creative problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Ability to write legibly and use a ruler.
  • Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.).
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, high energy, team player focused on the goals of the organization.
  • Strong customer focus.
