Operator Labels

We are currently looking for a rewinder operator for our labels department.

Responsibilities:

• Visually checks the quality of labels produced using a strobe light.
• Replaces non-conforming labels.
• Change cylinders and adjust knives in accordance with the order.
• Rewinds the roll of labels to customer specifications.
• Prepares the labels on the computer to identify each roll.
• Calculates the number of labels on each roll;
• Works on the folding machines (setting paper and picking up) and on the Aquaflex;
• Makes replacements at the operator station.

Requirements:

• Good aptitude for mathematical calculations
• Great attention to detail, meticulousness, good powers of observation
• Speed of execution and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Manual dexterity and precision
• Good judgement and initiative
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work in compliance with health and safety standards.

Working conditions:

• Full operator training will be given on site.
• Monday to Friday from 6am to 2.30pm
