Digital Printing

Digital printing methods like inkjet and laser apply toner or liquid ink directly onto the print surface. This technique involves lower setup costs, especially for small print runs, and faster turnaround times since there is no need to create plates. Digital printing is advantageous for variable data printing where elements can change from one printed piece to the next without stopping the press. It provides good print quality, though fine details and color matching may not be as precise as offset printing. Digital printing is typically more cost-effective than offset for shorter print runs.

Offset Printing

Offset printing transfers images from plates to rubber blankets and then rolls them onto paper, “offsetting” the image. While offset involves more initial setup like creating plates, it can then produce large print runs quickly and cost-effectively. Offset is known for superior image quality with sharp prints, fine details, and photographic reproduction. It can use custom inks and Pantone colors for precise color matching. Offset can print on a wide variety of materials including wood, cloth, and metal. The high setup costs make it more economical for large print runs.

FAQ

What types of printing do you offer?

We offer a wide range of printing services including offset, digital, and large-format printing. Whether you need short-run variable data jobs or high-volume offset production, we have the technology and expertise to deliver exceptional results.

What products can you print?

We print everything from brochures, booklets, and posters to retail signage, packaging, promotional materials, and more. If it’s printed, there’s a good chance we can handle it — including custom formats and specialty finishes.

What’s the difference between offset and digital printing?

Offset printing is ideal for high-volume jobs that require consistent color and high quality. Digital printing is faster and more cost-effective for smaller runs or when personalization (like variable data) is needed. We’ll help determine the best method for your project.

Can you help with print file setup or design?

Yes. Our prepress team can assist with file setup, resolution checks, bleed specifications, and color management. We also offer graphic design services if you need help bringing your vision to life.

What finishing options are available for printed pieces?

We offer a full range of finishing services including folding, scoring, binding, die-cutting, lamination, foil stamping, embossing, and more. Visit our Finishing & Kitting page for details.

What is your typical turnaround time for print jobs?

Most print projects are completed within 5–10 business days after final proof approval, depending on complexity and volume. If you have a tight deadline, let us know — we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do you offer color matching or proofing?

Absolutely. We provide both digital and press proofs, and offer Pantone® color matching to ensure your brand colors print accurately and consistently.
