In March of 2021, SupremeX acquired Vista Graphic Communications, also known as Vista. Vista Graphic Communications is an Indianapolis, Indiana-based provider of print and folding carton packaging.

We’re going to share information about this acquisition, including a background on Vista Graphic Communications. We’ll also showcase how this acquisition can help SupremeX establish a stronger presence and better meet the needs of our clients across North America.

About Vista Graphic Communications

Founded by Tim Rolfsen in 1985, Vista began as a print finishing company. It looked to fill a gap in the market of print finishing solutions, but in the years that followed, the company grew to offer a wider range of services.

Today, Vista Graphic Communications specializes in micro-flute packaging and customized folding cartons. The company’s main clients are in the dental, publishing, and medical industries. Presently, it runs two full production lines and its equipment and services include 40” litho presses, die-cutting, and gluing.

Vista takes a customer-service-focused approach with each project it takes on, assisting with the planning, assembly, and distribution of those materials. Vista Graphic Communications is always looking to provide more cost-effective services while making its processes more efficient.

With over 36 years of experience designing and manufacturing custom packaging, Vista can take on a wide variety of projects. Its professional services include:

  • Retail & DTC Package Design & Prototyping
  • Offset & digital printing
  • Steel Rule Die Cutting
  • Folding & Gluing
  • Storage & Logistics

The Acquisition

What drew us to Vista Graphic Communications? We recognized the company’s skilled workforce, strategic location, and production capabilities.

Part of our strategy with this acquisition is to meet the growing demand of our e-commerce packaging customer base. Specifically, we’re looking to grow our customized patent-protected e-commerce packaging solutions, which enable DTC brands to ship their products for the least possible postage.

By making Vista Graphic Communications part of SupremeX, we’re strategically positioning ourselves to meet these goals. We’re geographically closer to our core eCommerce packaging customers and we’ve added state of the art die cutting and folding/gluing equipment specifically to serve the needs of the eCommerce packaging market.

We also saw the alignment of our core values; Vista Graphic Communications is a sustainable printing company. Vista uses Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper, which means it’s sourced from forests that are managed responsibly.

The company is also committed to recycling all materials whenever possible, including toner cartridges, light bulbs, solvents, and plastics.

In addition, Vista uses biodegradable packing materials, environmentally friendly inks, and energy-efficient HVAC and lighting throughout its facilities.

At SupremeX, we have an environmental policy and offer a line of eco-friendly products. It’s important to us that we’re sustainable in all aspects of our operation.
